PEMRA will Cancel Licenses for showing Indian Content

PEMRA has currently issued a statement due to current issues that TV channels will have cancelled their licenses in case of broadcast illegal Indian channels and Indian material show or any  Indian content in accordance with  Ordinance Section 30(3) of PEMRA.

Authorities given to Chairman that he can suspend TV licenses on any violates without any showcase notice. 

As per Press release notice shown below authority will start this action against any violators after date of 15th October 2016.

PEMRA already announced on 31st August 2016 to stop broadcasting, airing or showing of any illegal Indian channels or any content related to India.

As per recent resection of our neighbour, PEMRA has advised and requested to people of Pakistan that not to watching any Indian channels, show or dramas.

Moreover Public already demanded to PEMRA for implementation of this action more strictly and stop the all broadcast of Indian in Pakistan.

Indian authorities has been already actively blocked and still stopping all Pakistani shows, content and channels in their area, Even forced Pakistani artists and sportsmen to leave the this country immediately. Any content related to any Pakistani artist has been banned in India.
